Sammie came into rescue with some serious cherry eye going on and some ulcers on her eye from the untreated cherry. She'll be having surgery for all that this coming week and then will be available for adoption. We know a lot of you have already expressed an interest in adopting Sammie because of her unique coloring and also many of you would like to help out with her care and fostering until she is adopted. For those wanting to adopt, please keep in mind that even though Sammie is very unique looking, she is still a bulldog and comes with all of the issues that can be associated with bulldogs. Please do not apply for adoption based only on her looks. She is still going to need a loving and caring forever home no matter what she looks like.
