Carol, you said everything so perfectly. Gunnyboy and Tom will be missed. Rest in peace both of you. May you frolic in bully heaven together, forever...
Tom, I will miss you, buddy and reading your beautiful & thoughtful
posts about life, Gunnyboy, Sarge, Lulu and your love of the outdoors.
You touched my soul with your words and I cried many times with you
after the loss of Gunny. His death took something out of you, only now
restored since you've reunited with him in Heaven. Thank you, Tom, for
the man you are and defending America, tho it left scars on your heart
and soul that only Gunny could heal. I will miss you but know you belong
with your soul mate, Gunnyboy and beyond the hurt this world gave you.
Rest in peace, Marine...Semper Fi...

I tried to convince my son to become one of us but he chose the Navy instead but was sadly he was discharged from a previously unknown heart condition a few days ago and he was supposed to leave on the 5th.
