Oh my gosh... well your breeder is extremely misinformed. It's advised to water down their kibble for the first few months because they tend to gobble down their food, but it's not necessary for an entire year. I have NEVER given my pups a water bottle, they would destroy it w/those sharp puppy teeth... Nylabones, deer/moose antlers and MANY puppies toys are fine w/supervision. DO NOT give them rawhides though, they can choke on them. I agree about the temperature when they are outside to a point, I only let my guys to go out to potty for about 15-20 min in the hot summertime.
