  • That's hilarious. Everyone calls me Cor-in. So, I guess we just have a complicated name! I respond to both honestly, as I'm sure you do too!

Joni's skin is doing SO much better. That one time wipe down with the medicated wipes, plus the antibiotics she started has cleared everything up. No more redness, and she seems much happier. I'm relieved!

We make the adoption official tomorrow!
Hi Corine! I'm new here—my name is Corine as well! Nice to meet you! It's so rare to meet someone with our name!
:christmas34::snowballfight::christmas34: The First Snowball Fight is officially on!! SPLAT, GOTCHA, PASS IT ON, BUT YOU CAN'T GET THE ONE WHO GOT YOU!
His recovery was non-existent... did not even phase him. The procedure of doing the nares is the result of a study that showed bulldogs that had them done as a puppy (if needed) instead of waiting till an older age, had less need for palate reduction.... so, it does not guarantee eliminating the future surgery, but it sure in heck lessens the chances. As I said, lambeau is now almost a year old and just had his tail removed, so while he was under, our vet checked his palate and said it was looking good. I opted to do the nares early for two reason, lessen the chance of a surgery after age two and we trust our vet with all our hearts so if he stated it was worth doing, w went for it and so far it is paying off
Hi Corine --- Tracey sent me your way to answer questions about the early nares surgery. Lambeau had his done at 16 weeks and now at almost a year (this coming Thursday) he barely snores and has no issues with his palate at this time. The procedure and recovery were uneventful and I would do it again without hesitation
