  • Hi!!

Yeah, I SOOO gave up on that cleaning the crate everyday thing. :) I now take Bella to the doggy daycare at her vet because the price is great. She loves it there!! I almost think she likes it there better than home. Lol if I didn't do that, I'd still be willing to clean the crate everyday when I get home. It's worth it! You're doing great.

She seems to be thriving and growing like a weed on her two meals a day. I asked her breeder about this feeding schedule and he said it was fine. Having said that, I may just run it by her vet, just to be certain. You can't be too careful. Thanks for the advice. :))

I'm glad little Lola is doing so well! I'm sure that pretty soon she'll be able to hold it through the night. Bella sleeps through the night and she's exactly 16 weeks old. Maybe try to push her nightly wake-up time back an hour every night...4AM, then 5AM, etc. Hopefully that'll work.
    Hi Pete!

To be honest, I've thought about feeding Bella yogurt, but it haven't yet. I think I will give it a try soon to see if it helps supplement her food.

    Glad Lola is doing great!

When I first got her, I fed her Canidae, which is what the breeder fed her. At that time, her poop was really soft. I upgraded to Fromm Puppy and her poops are much more normal now. I feed her twice a day (7AM and 7PM) and I'm worried that it may not be enough. That's why I want to supplement w/ yogurt. I also add a small scoop of organic coconut oil to both of her daily meals. I figure that regulating her meals makes it easier for me to regulate her potty habits. I will say, though, that she is kept in her crate while I work and she's not able to hold it while I am at work. So, every workday I come home and clean her and her crate. Despite this, she's doing wonderfully when I'm off and home with her all day.

i hope this helps some. I'd be happy to discuss the pups and share tips anytime.
