Blue is back with IBR due to no fault of her own. Blue is a darling petite little bulldog who has a pancreatic condition, skin allergies and hypothyroid. But, donā€™t let that scare you ā€” she is a bulldog after all. All of these items are easily controlled with medication and they donā€™t hold Blue back at all. While Blue *adores* people and does very well around adults and older children, she has struggled to get along with new infants who are introduced to her home. She also prefers to be an only dog.Weā€™re getting Blue resettled into foster care and weā€™ll report more once we get to know her a little bit better.Foster Update:Blue is a sweet girl with a little sass. She loves belly rubs, butt rubs and just being close to you. She is learning to love her crate again. She does have some skin allergies and will itch off and on. We have medicated bath and wipes to help with this. Itā€™s only been a week, but we already know she will be a great family dog with the right match. We will update regularly.Foster update 2: After of couple of weeks with Blue living with us, we can see that she is a great dog. She loves belly rubs and doesnā€™t know a stranger. Sheā€™ll happily roll over and let anyone scratch her. She can be playful at times and really loves to run laps around our house after her weekly bath. Bathing her is super easy. Sheā€™s so used to it that she just stands there until itā€™s done. Her favorite item is her bed. She will either sleep in the living room when we are watching TV or crash in her crate. Blue does well with children 6 and up. Otherwise, she can be a bit pushy at times. We donā€™t recommend that she share a home with another dog. We have a large dog and she will get some toy and bed defensiveness. Blue is adoption ready and will make a great addition to a family!
