[FONT="]Penelope is a very sweet, tiny girl at only 34 pounds. She was used for breeding in the past. She spent much of life in a crate, without much socialization or training. With that said, Penelope is a complete sweetheart and so grateful for human interaction. She loves to go for a walk, a car ride, hang out on the couch or run around the yard. She is very food motivated so its been a great motivator for her training and she will beg for food from anyone around.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Penelope came into rescue the same day as Dolly and they have fallen head over heels in love with each other. IBR attempted to place Penelope and Dolly in a home together but the expense of taking in two dogs at once proved to be problematic, which is understandable. Dolly has now been adopted so Penelope is learning to adapt to life as it is now, and looking for her forever family now.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Penelope gets along well with other dogs and would probably do fine with a cat, but hasn’t been cat tested. She doesn’t understand how to play with toys of any sort, but will chew the occasional Nylabone. Penelope is very gentle and wont jump on guests or small children so she would be a great addition to any home.[/FONT]
