Lucy is an owner surrender. Her family loved her very much, but were having difficulty with her medical needs.
Since Lucy came to IBR she has undergone several procedures — mass removal from her mammary chain, mass removal on thigh, entropian on both lower eye lids, and a dental cleaning with one extraction. Lucy also has dry eye, and will require daily medications.
Lucy is a senior bully, but she still has some spunk! She is happy to follow you around and is curious about what got going on. Lucy also enjoys her beauty rest and relaxation time. If you are looking for snuggle time, Lucy will happily oblige!
Lucy doesn’t mind sharing attention, she has 2 fur foster sisters, and 12 yr. old human foster brother. She hasn’t been around cats, but I think she would do fine, as she is fairly passive with her fur foster sisters.
Lucy is crated trained, thanks to her fur foster sisters…she wasn’t crazy about the idea at first, but has caught on and adjusted very well. She doesn’t mind riding in the car, but gets a bit antsy and can’t find her resting spot. She does much better being crated while in the car.
Since Lucy is a senior sweetie, she would do best in a home with a family that has previous bulldog experience. She’ll need daily medication for her eyes. Lucy will require the daily bulldog hygiene schedule — her eyes and ears may need wiped. Lucy also gets a little odoriferous on her bum and girl parts and will need a daily spritz of these areas too
