BIO:

Sugar has some pending medical issues related to an extremely enlarged liver. Despite that, she behaves, sleeps, eats, drinks and potties like a completely normal, healthy bullie.

Sugar's favorite thing to do is cuddle. She loves attention from anyone who will give it to her. She likes to lick and chew bones. She is actively alert and has a medium energy level.

Sugar has been slowly warming up to her foster siblings, including bullies, cats and even a bird. She does not like another dog to come into her "personal" space, however. She will let them know by growling and if they proceed to get in her face, she will show her displeasure by fighting. She is able to free roam in her foster home with the other animals, as long as her person is present.

Sugar has seen the vet and we are waiting on diagnosis regarding her enlarged liver. It is possible she may have Cushing's Syndrome. After we address her priority liver related issues, she will need to be spayed, have entropian surgery in both eyes and a dental. Depending on her diagnosis, she may require lifelong medication.

Sugar will not be available for adoption until we can address her medical concerns and get her healthy. She will need lots of sponsors to help with mounting costs. Please help us help her live the comfortable life.
