BIO:
Boomer was surrendered because his owner didn't have time for his care. He arrived with ear and skin infections and multiple interdigital cysts on every paw. He is taking antibiotics and his foster mom is cleaning his skin regularly to help him feel better. He is also on a higher quality, grain-free diet.
Boomer has a prolapsed urethra, which he has already had several surgeries for to try and help but at this time nothing else that can be done. He does not have many issues with it, but it does occasionally bleed without notice. His foster mom applies pressure and puts a belly band on when this happens and it usually stops within 5 minutes. His skin can get irritated and raw from the infections he is working to overcome, so he is usually left uncovered with everything kept near at hand in case he should experience some bleeding.
Boomer has settled in to his foster home quite nicely. He is just the sweetest boy. He is kind and loving to everyone and has a great disposition. He walks well on a leash and is working on not pulling.
Boomer's foster mom cannot say enough how tender-hearted and sweet this boy is! He is so eager to please and absolutely loves everyone.
