BIO:

Luna came to IBR as a stray. She is a gorgeous girl with the most beautiful eyes her foster mom has ever seen. She is settling in to her foster home well with three foster siblings that she gets along with famously. You cannot tell she is the new kid on the block at all.

Luna is house and crate trained but prefers to snooze on the couch. She will go to the door for potty time, is totally agreeable to ear/fold cleanings and stands nicely for a bath. She is very laid back and on the lower energy side. She is a great snuggle pal!

Luna is perfectly healthy with the exception of an eye ulcer, which will heal after she completes a cycle of medicated eye drops. She will need to be spayed and microchipped as well. She has no allergies or daily maintenance medication at this time.

Luna is 100% deaf. Don't let that fool you, though. She is perfectly adjusted and social. She loves all dogs and people. She isn't startled when approached from behind or while sleeping and is not toy or food aggressive in the least.

Luna is a very smart girl and will soon begin hand signal training with her foster mom. She could likely go without the training and be a perfectly fine addition to anyone's home, as she is just accustomed to not being able to hear and was probably born that way. She walks well on a leash, but due to her deafness should be leashed at any time she is not in a fenced area for her own safety.

We feel strongly that even with her deafness, Luna is an absolutely perfect girl in every way and will make a wonderful addition to a family!
