BIO:

Maverick is a lover boy, very sweet and affectionate. He came in from the shelter not feeling very well, with a cough and throwing up. He was taken to the vet right away, where it was determined he has multiple skin infections and his tail pocket is also severely infected.

The vet has recommended going ahead and amputating Maverick's tail when he is neutered, after his infections have cleared up.

MAY UPDATE: After several days in his foster home and still not feeling well at all, Maverick was admited to the vet hospital for pain, vomiting and dehydration. His tail infection is so severe that he will need it amputated ASAP. He will also have soft palate reduction surgery and be neutered. Despite not feeling well, he has been a trooper and remains sweet and loving.
