BIO:

Gwen had been living outside/in the garage for awhile before coming to IBR and her condition showed it. She was taken to the vet immediately and our vet said she had the worst tail pocket infection he had ever seen. She is currently on oral antibiotics in hope that it will clear the infection, but will need to be reevaluated.

Gwen will also need two front teeth removed, both cherry eyes fixed and entropion surgery as well. Despite everything, she is very sweet and loving!

APRIL UPDATE: Gwen is a super sweet, laid back girl who loves attention. She is recovering wonderfully from tail amputation, entropion surgery in both eyes, a cherry eye fixed, two teeth removed and being spayed. She will go back in next week for the removal of her all her various stitches and staples.

Gwen gets along great with her furry foster sisters as well as the human kids in the house. She does jump occasionally, but her foster mom is working with her on that. She also needs to lose 10-15 pounds. She is going on daily walks to help with the weight loss, but isn't used to walking so her foster mom is having to start slow and build up the distance.

Gwen is not quite ready for adoption yet, as she is still recovering from her various surgeries, but when she is she will be a wonderful addition to any family with her sweet disposition and happy nature.
