Spartacus was found as stray. He is brindle with a white face and one of the most beautiful bullies you will ever lay your eyes on. The unique thing about him is that he has one blue eye and one brown. Unfortunately, he has 2 cherry eyes and severe breathing problems, most likely due to his soft palette.
Spartacus will be vetted and we will share more information on him as soon as it is available. Please consider sponsoring Spartacus as he will need to be neutered, have surgery for cherry eye in both eyes and most likely soft palette surgery, as well.
UPDATE: Spartacus was neutered and had double cherry eye surgery Dec. 30. He is recovering and will be available for adoption within the next few weeks. Spartacus is the most lovable bullie and like most bulldogs, he thinks he is a lapdog.
Spartacus is also very high energy and loves to play. He is a big boy and doesn't realize his strength, so he sometimes can play very rough. Because of this, he will require a very active family, a fenced yard where he can run and play, and no children under the age of 12.
Spartacus doesn't like to be crated and he will cry if left in one. He is happy sleeping on a soft bed or sofa. He is completely housebroken and he will tell you when he needs to go potty, either by whining or speaking. As a matter of fact, he will speak to get your attention anytime he wants something.
Spartacus is overall the perfect bullie and will be the perfect addition to the right family. If that's your family, make sure to mention Spartacus by name when filling out your adoption application.
