Nadia is a breeder surrender. She is quite spry for an 8 year old mother of many. Overall she's low energy, but can be easily excitable at times, especially when there are food/treats to be had or affection being given. She's very affectionate and patient with other dogs, cats, and children. She knows a few commands (sit, come, eat, bed).
Nadia came in with a previous injury to her front leg. Although she gets around fine with it, she's not much for going on walks. Quick romps around the yard are enough exercise for her.
Nadia also had heartworms when she arrived in rescue, which she began treatment for immediately. The treatment to get rid of heartworms can be very difficult on a dog, but she is braving through it with the support of her foster family. She has almost completed them, and once she gets a clean bill of health will be spayed and ready for adoption!
