Zoe is a very sweet 6 year old brindle bullie. She is very low energy majority of the time, with a few spurts of energy every now and then. She does not have any known aggression issues and does well with dogs and kids. She is currently taking Benadryl and joint supplements for allergy and arthritis issues. More info on Zoe will be available once she has her initial vet visit!

OCTOBER UPDATE: At her foster home, Zoe is doing very well. She has had no issues with the other three dogs that she lives with, or the children in the home. She is completely housebroken and is very well mannered. Her favorite spot to be is sleeping on the couch!
NOVEMBER UPDATE: Zoe has healed very well from her surgeries in early October. The results came back from her mammary mass removal. Two of the tumors were benign, one was malignant. After consulting with a specialist, it was determined that the margins on Zoe's tumor removal were good and no further cancer treatment is needed at this time. Zoe will soon be scheduled for her upper eyelid entropian surgeries and will then be finished with her medical work!

Although Zoe's cancer has been completely removed with no further treatment needed, she will need a forever family that understands she will need to be checked regularly for new tumors and is capable of monitoring her health wit ha very watchful eye. The mass that was removed was deemed to be an intermediate malignancy, so there will be a 50/50 chance throughout the remainder of Zoe's life that future tumors will develop and need to be removed. As for now, she is a healthy and happy girl!

In addition to her upcoming upper entropian surgeries, Zoe will also work on weight loss in order to help correct her hip and joint issues. She is currently on glucosamine tablets that have helped her tremendously. This is something that she will need to remain on for the rest of her life as well, to help keep her arthritis and joint pain at a minimum.

Zoe is still currently on medical hold but will be available for adoption after she recovers from her procedures!

DECEMBER UPDATE: Zoe is still doing very well in her foster home. She had her final entropian surgery in November and will be getting her final vet re-check the first week of December. Afterwards, she should be cleared for adoption.

Zoe has lost a little bit of weight, which is helping with her joints. She is still on glucosamine and fish oil supplements as well as Benadryl (in addition to her eye medications), which seems to be working out well for her. It will be recommended to her forever family that these supplements become permanent, as it is helping her allergies and joints tremendously!

Zoe is still the sweet, happy girl she has always been. She enjoys spending time with her foster bullie brother, Chunk (pictured with her on the left), and with the rest of her foster family.
