My boy Bruce is almost 2 years old. He weighs 45 lbs. He seems a little thin to me.
He's been on Nutro dog food since we got him. His previous owner has always fed him Nutro. Chicken and Rice.
I'm thinking about switching dog foods and need some input. Any suggestions? Any input on his weight? What's a good food to feed to give him the proper nutrients he needs?

You can always add actual rice to his meals. A couple table spoons mix it in. In very little time he will start to bulk up nicely. Maybe a week at most and you'll notice the difference.

Would you mind post the picture from the top??
Bullies shouldn't be fat and they do come in different shapes and sizes
My vet always says that im the only one bully owner who keep Lily lean - thats how they should be

Yes, we need pics from above and side view too to see a waistline. How
much do you feed and how often?

Both foods are good foods. If Nutro Rice & Chicken is not creating allergies
I'd keep him on it as bullies are so darned sensitive. Bullies do not start filling
OUT until 2-3 years old.

Let us know, we care~GOD bless!

Just seems to me (and I could worry a little to much) that he seemed a little thin.
He eats at night. He gets up in the middle of the night and when I get up for work his bowl is clean. I keep a good scoop in it at all times for him.

He looks really good to me! Are his parents bigger, because he looks like he is proportionate to me.

Just viewed his pics, handsome boy and looks PERFECT to me, not thin at all.

Now that he's two he's finished growing UP and will start filling OUT, jaw widen,
head thicken & broaden as will the rest of his body this year and next year. Bullies
grow until 3 y/o.

Awesome. I tend to worry a lot especially since I'm a proud new owner. We adopted Bruce from a young single mother here about 3 months ago. She had him and a female. She could only keep one so she kept the female.
He a had a small tumor on his hind leg. We had it removed and the vet said it was a normal tumor nothing to worry about nd highly unlikely to return.
I just want to give home the best life possible so I've been reading all I can and trying to learn as much as possible.
I also have a small pug. She's almost 5. She's spoiled rotten also.
Me and my family love them both.
Thank you all for your input. It really helps to hear you guys opinions.
Thank you and God bless

He is a very handsome fit boy, if he is doing good on that food and his fur is good I'd stay with it. It's so hard to find the right food for these guys.

Great pictures!!

to my knowledge Nutro is one of the better foods on the ratings list. I agree with Phil pdolphin27 he looks healthy and isn't having allergy issues with this food I'd keep him on it Lord knows we have had this struggle food wise.
