Hi, I need advice on what supplements I should give my puppy if I get him on a home-cooked diet. I was going to do a raw diet but found out that's too expensive for me to keep up. I'm trying to figure out how much I'm going to be spending on supplements in a cooked diet vs. how much for a kibble diet. Anyone have any experience on raising a healthy puppy on a cooked diet?

I feed raw and the only regular extra I give is salmon oil.

I give Nuvet plus with yogurt, cottage cheese, salmon oil, fish oil, cranberry, canned pumpkin... Not everything each day but I mix it up. Nuvet at least every other day tho.

Sorry. I don't know how I missed this.

With a puppy eating home cooked meals you absolutely have to add a calcium supplement. Without it you risk improper bone, muscle and nerve growth issues.
