We felt it in Jersey ... I live at the "Jersey Shore". It was so subtle that all of us in our office didn't say anything at first. Felt like someone was shaking my chair. So weird. Glad everyone is okay!
You can close your eyes to things you don't want to see,
but you can't close your heart to the things you don't want to feel.

We felt it here in Central PA. I was getting my oil changed & the building moved briefly. I didn't realize what it was, but definitely felt it and it made me pause. I was wondering if it was equipment at the car garage. Then about 15 mins later it broke on the weather channel. It was a weird sensation. I didn't feel anything major, but talked to some other people who said lights were shaking, etc.

"The east coast earthquake apparently was caused by an unknown fault line running under D.C. and through Virginia. It is now being called Obama's Fault, though Obama will say it's really Bush's Fault. Other theories are that it was the founding fathers rolling over in their graves or that what we all believed to be an earthquake was actually the effects of a 14.6 trillion dollar check bouncing in Washington."
