My first time: BREAKOUT Escape Room

I'm in Indy visiting for holidays. Going to an escape room game in a few hours. I got an email a few hours ago telling me I'm on "Elf Team Six". I'm scared. It said I'm on a "mission of the utmost importance" and tells me I "have to save Christmas in a half hour" Has anyone gone to a Breakout before? Any advice?

We have one here, I haven't been but it's supposed to be a blast. From what I've heard you get clues to find more clues to eventually find the key to unlock the door. I haven't heard one person complain about it. Have fun!! Sorry I couldn't give you any tips but I second Helsonwheels advice.

Sounds like something out of a SAW movie. Call for backup to arrive a little after you do so they can report if you don't return on time. LOL

We have done the escape rooms by me many times. They are a lot of fun. Each operator is different so unless you know someone who is doing the one you have done there isn't much info to be had. Just go and have fun and don't let the frustration get to you.

Thanks everyone for your input! We did it! My sister and I were the only people playing and we broke out in 22 min 24 seconds! We had to find Santa's hat to unlock the door and save Christmas. I'm sure we looked ridiculous trying to unlock combinations, count and sort colored blocks put together puzzles etc. Great fun, I definitely recommend it! We went to a casino afterwards and won the jackpot on slots!!! Great day! Woo Hoo!! Happy New Year Everyone!!!
