I will try to keep up with this during the season. If I leave anyone or their team off, just let me know and I will adjust for the following week. I will be adding names and teams that I have from the historical documents I retrieved from the spaceship. Some of these are also EBNers that we have not heard from in a long time. So here we go:

@HTX Bully 9/3/3016 12:00 pm. Houston Cougars playing at home against Oklahoma Sooners. Line Oklahoma -11

@Marine91 9/3/2016 1530 Hours Texas A&M playing at home against #16 UCLA. Line Texas A&M -3.5

@2BullyMama 9/3/2016 1530 hours Penn State playing at home against Kent State. Line Penn State -21.5

@Sophatp and @GunnyHighway 9/3/2016 1200 hours #6 Ohio State playing at home against Bowling Green. Line Ohio State -27.5

@TheLost 9/1/2016 2000 Hours ET Utah State playing at home against Weber State. Weber State Team shave their heads to support coaches wife with cancer. Line None.

@Chunky White 9/5/2016 200 hours #4 Florida State playing at home against #11 Ole Miss. Monday Night Football Line Florida State -4 This ought to be a good game unless its a blow out somehow.

ChrisRN 9/2/2016 1900 hours ET #12 Michigan State playing at home against Furman Line None

@g8erjackie 9/3/2016 1930 hours ET #25 Florida playing at home against UMass. Line Florida -36.5

@Old School Dropout 9/1/2016 1930 hours North Carolina State playing at home against William & Mary. Line None

My Maryland Terps 9/3/2016 1200 hours playing at home against Howard Line None

Good luck everybody and remember respect, integrity, and sportsmanship.

Ole Miss might be the toughest game for FSU and not an easy start to the season. I am starting the season off going to Tennessee's first two games since they are both close to home. Their second game is at Bristol Motor Speedway against Va Tech and I live 20 minutes from the track. I didn't think I would find tickets to that game but my neighbor is the Director of Guest Relations and stopped and asked if I wanted some tickets so I am going. There should be a record crowd of around 160,000 people

Awesome.... so excited for college ball!

I will miss the games this Saturday, but will try to listen to some on the radio. I am doing a bulldog re-home transport all day Saturday so I will be in the ca for about 12 hours.

Should be an interesting season. One of the IMAX theaters here will be showing several Texas A&M games so I can at least watch the ones I don't go to on a big screen. Plus I will be traveling several weeks to go watch games at my daughters college.

The Tennessee vs Appalachian State game wasn't pretty and UT should in no way be ranked after the performance they put up. I did get some pics of the inside of the stadium and there had to be over 100K people at the game. The stadium was loud for 75% of the game and because of that Appy State had a few delay of games and used time outs because they couldn't hear the QB on the field. If anyone is within a few hours of UT and enjoys football they should attend one game when they are playing a big team like Bama, Florida, and Georgia.

Hopefully the Army vs Navy game will be good this year. I am not sure if beating Temple is an upset though.

You are quite right. Temple has had some good teams in the past and I recall they whooped the Terps pretty bad in College Park.

Currently watching College Game Day on ESPN. The picked Oklahoma over Houston. Now they are going to the Lee Corso Headgear pick.

I am happier than a pig in mud. College Football is back for another year. And my wife is a big fan of college ball but not the NFL.

I hope your teams win today. Go TERPS! for me.

Yes Wes I agree wholeheartedly that it was a great week of college ball. Our family a little taken aback by the FSU win because we were rooting for Ole Miss (underdog). Besides, we did not care for FSU when the Terps were in the ACC. One thing my wife pointed out during the pre-game when the cameras were on the coaches giving their pregame talks is that Jimbo Fisher was a talking head. He talked and talked and talked that even the players seemed bored and about to fall asleep. It was kind of evident during the first half of the game because the players appeared lethargic. It wasn't until the midway through the second quarter that one coach was going around the team with a one of Manydogs cattle-prods to wake up the players. Then all of a sudden things went in FSU's favor. Congrats on the win Wes.

That was a great first week of college ball that gave us some great thrills with some of the upsets. Here is how some of our EBNer's teams performed this week.

@HTX Bully 9/3/3016 12:00 pm. Houston Cougars playing at home against Oklahoma Sooners. Line Oklahoma -11 Houston 33 Oklahoma 23 Nice UPSET.

@Marine91 9/3/2016 1530 Hours Texas A&M playing at home against #16 UCLA. Line Texas A&M -3.5 A&M 34 to 24.

@2BullyMama 9/3/2016 1530 hours Penn State playing at home against Kent State. Line Penn State -21.5 -- PSU 33 to 13

atp and @GunnyHighway 9/3/2016 1200 hours #6 Ohio State playing at home against Bowling Green. Line Ohio State -27.5 Ohio 77 to 10 Bowling Green

@TheLost 9/1/2016 2000 Hours ET Utah State playing at home against Weber State. Weber State Team shave their heads to support coaches wife with cancer. Line None. Utah State 45 Weber State 6.

@Chunky White 9/5/2016 200 hours #4 Florida State playing at home against #11 Ole Miss. Monday Night Football Line Florida State -4 This ought to be a good game unless its a blow out somehow. FSU 45 Ole Miss 34 This was not a bad game with FSU fighting back for the win.

@ChrisRN 9/2/2016 1900 hours ET #12 Michigan State playing at home against Furman Line None MSU 28 Furman 13.

@g8erjackie 9/3/2016 1930 hours ET #25 Florida playing at home against UMass. Line Florida -36.5 Florida 24 UMass 7.

@Old School Dropout 9/1/2016 1930 hours North Carolina State playing at home against William & Mary. Line None NCS 48 W&M 14

My Maryland Terps 9/3/2016 1200 hours playing at home against Howard Line None Terps 52 Howard 13.

Bentley and Jewel really think there were two games of the week. The Houston Cougars upset win against the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns upsetting ranked Notre Dame Irishmen. Those were great games. Congratulations to those two teams.

CHUNKy said Jimbo's pre game talks might be why FSU always starts slow but they have been a come from behind team since he took over as head coach. I disagree on the game of the week because i think Houston beating Oklahoma was the biggest upset. I am glad that Texas looks to be getting back to winning again though and Charlie Strong is a good coach who knows how to win.

FSU has the biggest comeback in school history last night though against a good team. Our freshman QB Francois looked good and threw for 419 yards and had 59 yards rushing and he might not be the starter when Maguire gets healthy.

Chad Kelly looked like a great for Ole Miss and I hate that he is just now getting to show his talents. He had some great passes and is most definitely a run threat if given the opportunity. I am not sure what happened for him to leave Clemson and go to Southern Miss but he looked good.

All my Tennessee fan buddies are complaining about Tennessees QB Dobbs after the performance put on by Ole Miss and FSU QB's last night.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Very astute observations. Bentley was very impressed with the FSU and UT true Freshman QB's. Both showed a lot of maturity and tenacity to win ball games.

I am waiting for Maryland to start playing conference games to see how they do in the new Coach DJ Durkin era begins.
