Off Topic.... but hoping for a little help!

So this year I was introduced to a wonderful organization called the Tyler Robinson Foundation because my favorite band are the founders. Learning the story behind it and how it started is all very touching, but even more so is what they do to help families with children who are battling pediatric cancer.

The expenses when you have a child with pediatric cancer are tremendous, sure maybe the insurance company helps pay but co pays and time off of work, along with many other unexpected things come up.... and it puts additional stress upon a home that is already not coping with their struggles. TRF helps these families.

The C word has popped up in my home 3 times the past year, so for me it hit close to home. Plus some of my best bulldog friends have lost their mom and another her son last year. It makes me very emotional. I feel as passionate about this as I do about English Bulldog Rescue.

So I am doing a fundraiser for TRF, and it will be like the raffles we have here on EBN- except the prizes are all Imagine Dragons related- but either way it is for an awesome cause! The fundraiser is a little slow going, so I was hoping I could tell you all about it too to get some more support. I did start a forum for Imagine Dragons fans, but it is very small.

I donated anonymously and thanks for doing something like this. My family has a history of health problems and nothing is cheap these days so a lot of people really need help.

I hate to hear or see anyone with health problems but hate it even more when its a child thats sick.

Lisa I wish I had given you my donation in Vegas but I will donate by PayPal my mum died from cancer and my dad currently has leukaemia and a few years ago lung cancer So it is close to my heart

As a disabled widow on SS, as you know, my $$ are very tight.
Occasionally, I'm able to contribute a small bit to help someone
altho I try to help the much smaller known issues because they
aren't funded much if any at all, because I have these diseases
and know how 'under the radar' they are, also, very hard to get
SS approved and/or insurance companies to pay for treatments
or meds. If I have any extra (getting rarer for me) that's my usual
donation and usually to an individual rather than an organization.

What I can do and will, is to pray for your efforts as I do for the rescues
which I also can't usually help either but again, so many are aware of
their needs & donate time & money to rescues, I pray for EBN's many
wonderful rescues & individual cases...so proud of everyone's help

I join many in hoping an unexpected windfall comes my way so I can
share it. Heartbreaking needs are everywhere!

Again, Lisa...you rock...so proud to know you! Will keep this in mind
and thank you for letting us know about it...continued prayers for success.
