Way Cool - so went for lunch yesterday at a Japanese restaurant and was waiting in line and for the rest of my group. I was the only caucasian in the restaurant with a young family ahead of me, mom and dad and two sons around 9 and 12. The youngest asks what is that in your arm, dad says do not bother the gentleman and i replied it is no bother sir and it is called a PICC line and that is how they give me my medications. The boy then asked if I have cancer and I replied yes. Then this young lad says with all the new medicines and technology of today there is now a 70 % chance survival rate for cancer patients. I smiled and said that I plan on being part of the 70 % then there table came available. After seating the young guy stood up and waved to me then went on with his meal. Thank you for raising such incredible children and hopefully a sign of our future leaders.
