Just wanted to introduce myself. I use to be on here a lot. But have been
slacking the past few weeks. My wife and I have been in Wichita Kansas
for our Church. We went for a stewardship conference, and just got home
tonight. We had a great time. We went with a group of about 10 other
parishioners. It was great to spend time with these people and really get to
know them.

We stayed at the Spiritual Life Center in Wichita. It is a beautiful place
and offered us a chance to just relax. There were no TV's, no internet.
Just a room with a bed, chair and a shower. At first it was kinda weird
to not have a TV. Not that I really watch it a lot,its mostly background noise
for me. But in the end I got use to it and it was really nice to just spend time
with my wife.

So now we have to take the things we learned back to our Parish and hopefully
make some great changes in our Church. So anyway it is great to be back and
see that everyone is still alive and kick in. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Glad to hear you had a wonderful time. Isn't it nice to go back to peace and quiet for a time? One of my desired vacations is to go on retreat, (no TV etc)

lol. You're too funny reintroducing yourself. You're very well remembered, especially with a cutie like Jozi. Plus you also have your very own redneck smiley!

Stig goes to daycare too and he never looks back when we drop him off. But he sure does get excited when we pick him up! I bet Jozi will be the same.

Glad to hear your well deserved retreat went well. Welcome back!

Welcome back! Boy, what did I miss? The last I heard you and Jozi were in Pa. Did you and your wife sneek off and forget to tell us? Glad you had a nice retreat. Bet Jozi will be soooo excited to see you!

I picked her up from the daycare and things are kinda weird
with her. She just isn't acting herself. I don't know what it is.
But her ears are back all the like she is scarred or something.
I'm hoping this goes away pretty soon. She just seems different.
Sometimes I wonder if she feels like we abandoned her and we
have to regain her trust again. IDK

But the whole no TV no internet was really nice. We just
got to concentrate on what we were there for. And gave
my wife and I time to just talk. Like really talk not just the
normal everyday BS.
