Happy May 17th

Today is May 17th, which is called 17th of Mai in Norway. It is their Independance Day. They celebrate the day with Traditional Norwegian Dresses, food, Parades, and Festivities throughout the day. Happy 17th of May to my Family and Friends in Norway.

I've seen pictures of my Grandma and Pop-Pop celebrating in parades for this holiday. I don't know much about Norwegian tradition, but it always brings a smile to be reminded of the stories I've heard.
