We are overrun with them here as well. Hubby goes out with friends almost every weekend hog hunting. They are destroying land and crops over night and costing ranchers and farmers $$ from the damage.
They are one ugly looking beast. I wouldn't want to run into them on foot without a weapon for sure. *lol*

Oh Man he's scary looking, I have to agree with the others, I wouldn't want to run into one of those, and I couldn't eat it either. What does your neighbour do with them after he catches them?

Some of the people eat them. They make sausage too. They say it's good-but not for me.

Our house backs up to over two thousand swampy acres. We have wild hogs in our yard all the time. They are extremely destructive and they tear up everything. My neighbor even said he saw one walking down the street one time!
