@ddnene Well if it is metal in the food ....that will show up on x-ray. I looked on the FDA's recall website and did not see the dog food recall. I hope all turns out OK with Roxie.

I'm taking her in this morning, and honestly I really don't think she had metal in her food. I never saw anything in her kibble (and YES I do look) and I talked to her pet sitter and she's just as anal as I am when it comes to dogs. I just don't know what's going on…

I am going to hope it is separation anxiety and nothing serious. Glad to hear you are going to the vet.

Went to the vets this morning… they did a senior blood panel on her. She has a slight fever, and she has a GI virus… nothing serious. I also told her about that food issue w/Earthborn Holistic so she did an ultrasound just to be safe. Nothing in her tummy, Thank Goodness. We discussed a different protocol for her arthritis issues, so that will be something we will have to discuss… just waiting on the blood results

I'm very concerned about that article too Tracey. Both of my guys are on it. I hope you find out what's wrong with Roxie soon and it's something minor. Keep us posted.

Jim, Earthborn has not recalled their food… so I would have to assume this was a one-time bag issue. I took Roxie off it just to give her a bland diet till her stomach calms down… I would make sure to check the boys kibble just to be sure. So crazy...

@ddnene and @2BullyMama it sounds like that virus is making its rounds. PA, NY and now TN. I am glad to hear that it is nothing serious. Sending you positive vibes that Roxie has a speedy recovery.
