Finally some good news

As most of you know right before christmas my wife had a freak accident in the yard while playing with Harlea where she broke her leg in 3 places and required emergency surgery and has been confined to a wheelchair ever since.

Well we finally got some good news. I took her in for one of her last follow up appointments and her Dr cleared her to start walking again. A full week ahead of schedule. It's not much but for her it is a huge step forward to get back to some kind of normalcy and not have to rely on us for as much. For now she still has to use a walker for a bit and a 3 toed sloth moves faster than she does but she has improved a little bit every each day so far. /happydance

AWESOME.... baby steps tell her... take is slow and easy. but she must be ready to jump out of her skin.... so good to hear she is on her way.

Oh yeah she is really happy. I am as well. She is chomping at the bit to drive but I won't let her just yet.

Oh I did not know this, so sorry this happened but glad to hear the good news ... That's really a big deal a week ahead , woohoo . Now the she will be walking again she will improve faster and faster
