So here it goes -my home is done 99% on a very small budget -i call it diy ebay home - it took us 7 years to source or make everything cheap -im a full time carer to my hubby so i really do get payed next to nothing.
My next diy is a bulldog lamp for my hubby
Im going to use all the stuff we got in the house
-unused lamp
-old lampshade
-pair or 1 -of quite ugly looking bulldog figures that hubby bought in 1990 -while still in the army

He loved the bulldog lamps that are on the market but with current expenses this isnt possible
I painted the standing bulldog black already ,and a purple lamp base -both black
Please keep your fingers crossed as me being me Polish blonde it is a recipe for a disaster

I would imagine a wood bit should work just fine. The resin isn't a very hard material such as let's say concrete. I use regular wood bits to pretty much drill through anything lol

But if you want a 100% sure answer, I would Google it lol

Thank you - i use my wood ones -atm i cant do nothing yet as i cant unscrew the lamp base- i think a trip to ikea to buy inexpensive base is on the cards -unless a friend of mine got one for a swap ;-)
Dogs are currently received a coat of lacker -at least they dont have a horrible orange eyes ;-)

If i use one the other one will go on the shelf as a book end

That's amazing, I'm sure they'll turn out awesome. I always envy people who have the talent for DIY projects, I have absolutely no talent for painting, or decorating. Thank goodness I have a Mom who is a Interior Decorator. I can't wait to see the finished lamp.

Thanks hun -im not very creative and no good with most of diy ,but i have to learn as we got no family in UK who could help xx
