Dirty Dash

So this weekend a group of myself, other nurses and family participated in a charity run called the Dirty DAsh. It is 3.5 miles of mud pits, obstacles in and out of the mud including a big water slide. AT the halfway point was a free beer garden with kegs of microbrews. We had a blast!!

Ooh now see if the beer is at the halfway point it is more inspiring for me. If I could start with beer, then replenish halfway, I might not mind the mud so much. My cousin keeps trying to get me to do them but these ones, the beer is only at the end.

Yup, I did do a 5K mud run last year too! Have to say that I did it w/out the assistance of Jello shots tho!

I'd drag my ugly butt to the 1/2 way point and be like... Beer? Oh yea... ahhh you all go ahead, I'll catch up. . . . now if you put the potty at the END of the run MAYBE! LOL

It took me 2 hosings, 2 baths and a pedicure to get all the mud out!!
