well, honestly, I thought that point was made when I asked about the lawn, LOL.
I guess there is no hope for me being a "gardner"...Perhaps I'll just take pictures of the front lawn and y'all tell me what to plant and where. Then I can go to Home Depot (my not so favorite place) and tell them what I need.
Does it count that I've kept a "mother in law's tongue" plant alive for 2 years?

That counts. I don't even know what that is! Lol.

Annuals are for those types who want to have a reason to tinker in their yard. For us non-green thumbs, we stick with the ones that can survive neglect. Lol.

What I do for the potted plants: use aquarium water to water the plants and dump the rabbit's poop on it. I don't even bother composting the poop.

I got Bullied and loving it!

@anatess Dang it! You're right. Good job! Not my favorite Shakespeare work but in the top 10.

Shakespeare? Was he a gardener too?

Because I know you're dying to see one of my shakycam garden videos for 2013, here's the MAY DAY EDITION of The Mukilteo Garden. Be warned; it's a quickie (it's early in the season) although I do PBS GARDEN DWEEB out during a couple of moments.... I can't help myself.

@Vicaroo1000 you crack me up! I loved the ad lib in the video and am still amazed that you know what each and every plant is by name. You are certainly a pro at this. Nice Caddy, by the way. That annoying gardening guy on NPR got nuttin on you girl.
