my purdy new tail light

I love fixing things myself.
This will now be the 2nd time in 3 years I've had to completely replace my right tail light on my Jeep Liberty. What the Crap? This isn't something that should be replaced that often. Am I lucky it's not something worse? YES and I haven't over looked that fact.

I changed the socket first but that didn't fix it. I can only hope this new one will last another 3 years, as they are about $50 brand new.
