I went to Caesars in Atlantic City yesterday to go to the Pier shops for a class project with a fellow student. She went to shop, I did not. After 3 hot, exhausting hours (45 mins of which she spent in Victoria's Secrets) we finally got to leave. I have never paid for parking with my debit card but I didn't have any cash on me. I signed the receipt without looking at it and came home. About 4 hours later Linnet is looking online at our account and says why did you withdraw $500 at the casino? I was like...:eek:

Come to find out the older lady who ran my card through at the ticket booth where I paid typed in $500 instead of $5.
That threw my account in the negative last night and I was on the phone with a supervisor trying to get this straightened out. Thank GOD it was resolved today and we have our money and account back in black.

Moral of the story: Even if it's a $5 charge, always look at your receipt before you sign it.

That's scary I am guilty of that not checking my receipts, you have taught me to do this. I am so happy it was all sorted out for you😊

Let me say, I called 3 times to the day supervisor at Caesars, left messages and never got a call back. Then the 4th time I called this lady answered the phone and she literally moved heaven and earth to get my account fixed. I was shocked at how diligent she was. Most people would be like, oh well, it will take x many days to fix, so sorry, it's the computers, not us. She called Bank of America and was literally a bulldog on a bone getting this fixed. I called her boss to praise her and tell him to give her Employee of the month or even of the year! He said they have an employee reward program and he will be using it today. He was kind enough to offer us a room and dinner. I explained we don't spend the night there because of Mona (if she can't stay, we don't stay) but we do give our comp rooms to a friend of ours who has 2 young kids, father is a looser and doesn't pay child support...so the Mom uses the rooms as a free mini vacation. He said no problem, you just let me know when you want your friend to stay and I"ll arrange it. Now That, Jack, Is CUSTOMER SERVICE!
