I remember going to Vegas as a kid w/my family and the buffets at those really nice hotels were like, $3.00! Time's sure have changed (and I just dated myself big time w/that one)!

You should go to BACHI BURGERS! The best burger place ever:) Le Reve is a great show too! As for buffet...wicked @ the Cosmo is awesome. Even though I haven't try it out yet the raves about Bacchanal buffet @ Ceasar are extremely good!

I go to Vegas pretty often and I have to say the Luxor buffet is good! I loved the Elvis show we went to that on our one year anniversary! My husband and I got married in Vegas and we go back every year for our anniversary and we go to different shows every time. I really liked going to see the white tigers and Aquarium. We have went to Bodies and that was interesting but not fun more educational. Out of everything I liked the Beatles cirque show by far but I love the Beatles! I am so going down memory lane just writing this post please take me with you!:p

cali baker ha! prior to moving to NJ in 2008, the last time I went to a casino you played with coins. Imagine my surprise when we went down to AC and you put bills in the machine and got a paper ticket in return ?! I was like, Holy Cow. Now I'm dating myself, too. :)

Holy crap! The first time I went to Vegas was with my husband in 1980. I remember those 3.00 buffets and the 30.00 hotel rooms. How things have changed! I appreciate everyones input. Even though this is a 4-day meeting, I am so looking forward to getting away from work! I may keep my cell phone turned off.

Good to know it wasn't a bad day when we went, not that I would ever go back. For 40 bucks or whatever it was I could ave eaten something much better elsewhere! The rio has a reg buffet that if I remember is also very good but their seafood buffet is soooo good, I Only go for that.

When we went there it was from I think the coeliac site said they have a whole gluten free bar of foods and we rang and ask them well I got green salad and a few tomatoes etc for my dinner because I couldn't find it and when I asked they said oh yes there is the salad there. and what hubby had he didnt like at all and our waiter was a real pig and aggorant that was one place we did not tip. I havent been to the RIO But I really like the mirage they usually cook something out the back and one time he made some special deserts and brought them out to me.

Sooo making me jealous thinking about it. We had planned on going this month but rescheduling it for next year. Have a great time! Ftse 100 I don't know if we have eaten at the mirage. Don't think so tho. Last time we were there the craps dealer tried stealing hubby's hundred that he didn't see he had bet. Had to go thru the pit boss and make them go thru the camera footage to prove us right. Lol they were generous enough to give us a extra hundred on top of his winnings so we liked them. Figured our gambling was done there at that point tho.

I love Vegas, even got married there (drive through wedding in a convertable Mustang).
But we love it because we gamble. So if you're into that, I'd recommend the Bellagio. Love the hotel, the atmosphere, and the fact that the waitresses are ALWAYS around with drinks.

I love that you did it drive through. I've always wanted to renew our vows with an Elvis impersonator!
