EBN related injury?

I am getting Carpal Tunnel surgery on Friday (good thing). What I am wondering is this is EBN related? Can I file a claim?

It can only get better. I wake up at night all the time in pain, my hand gets numb drying my hair, etc, and my hand burns when I chart!!

Hope all goes well!! Hubby used to wake up every so often with shooting burning pains in his wrist up to his arms. We got help with pizza making so he could rest them and it went away! He just can do too much!
