I usually say Christmas because that is what I am celebrating..Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas is the traditional celebration in America, so it is appropriate... sure there are other religious based holidays this time of year, so no offense taken when their greetings are used as well, or even the generic "Happy Holidays" What I don't understand though are those that allow themselves to be offended by a traditional holiday greeting.

:yes: You are sooo right! But when I say Happy Holidays..it's meant to include New Years too! Shorter this way! :confused:

That's what happy holidays means to me too.

I think it's only a big deal because a few choose to make it one. Lucky for me I don't have to encounter those few often.
