Licking air???

Maude does the air licking! It drives me crazy. She seems to do it, after she's been chewing on a toy. I try to distract her with something-sometimes it works,sometime not. I wondered if it is some type of seizure......? Haven't figured it out,so far!

Funny you say that cause like you, I dont think it has anything to do with food. A lot of dogs dont have food issues and yet still lick the air. Makes you wonder. Last night, Nyala was chewing on her antler for a good 5 mins, then jumped on the sofa, sat near me. I started to pet her head. Notice her top right side of her head was very hot. Was it the chewing? Who knows.
