So we are right in the path of Irene. We will be getting hit Saturday night into Sunday. Right now it looks like she is moving very slowly, so it looks like she will be around for a while. So far we are just west of the mandatory evacuation area, but we are very close. Tubs is pretty good with thunder, but I don't know how he is going to do with this. Not to mention potty breaks.....hmmmmmm......I think Daddy is on potty duty.... For all of those in Irene's path.....stay safe! and let us know how you and bullies make out!

Hope you guys stay safe, so batten down the hatches, and have a hurricane bully party. We will be thinking of you guys so hope everything will be OK, so let us know how you did when it's over.

Hopefully it will lose strength before it gets to your area. Praying for you all!

We are on the east coast of Florida and made out pretty well today. Just a little more wind and alot of rain but that's about it other than the giant waves at the beach. Riddy isn't such a big fan of going out in the rain, but he doesn't care about thunder & stuff, he just isn't a fan of getting wet! Stay safe this weekend - Irene is a big girl!

we are forecast for 6 to 12" of rain and lots of wind. Will put on the floaties and have a hurricane party on the corner of Cowpath and Buckwheat drive, :tease: take that Irene.

We are supposed to go to a Japanese garden wedding on Saturday night, that may be a wash.

I'll be watching the coastline closely, and NYC yikes. I am 45 mins. west of Philly.
We'll be fine here.
seriously , I'm stocking up and getting prepared. no panic, just being realistic.

You all on the east coast, keep your heads down!!! You are sooo lucky to have hurricanes!..... at least you can plan for them; not so much tornadoes here in the midwest.

Same here. Guess I'll run and get some supplies just in case. We have well & septic so if we lose power we lose water and bathroom use. Gonna run and get a crate for Ruckus too so if we go to the fire house to wait it out( hubby's chief& their very family oriented) he can hang with everyone. :)

Thanks everyone....I am getting really nervous about this one. I am about 10 minutes outside of Atlantic City and they are shutting the Casinos down and evacuating all of AC. This is only the 3rd time is 33 years of legalized gambling that they have closed the casinos. We have everything we need as far as supplies, we will just have to wait this one out I guess. I am going to be taking pictures and videos, so I will post them when I can. Right now it is beautiful, sunny, clear blue skies and 77 degrees! This time tomorrow it will be completely the opposite!!!!!

We're praying for you guys!

My only suggestion:
Check out shelters just in case you have to evacuate. Get info on where you are going to go if you have to leave and make sure they take dogs.

just in case, fill your bath tub with water, use it for flushing :smoochwink:

Ill be thinking of u guys. My sister is in raliegh NC (ill be moving there Oct :)) hope ur prepared and ready to go. Lets hope she gets on land so she can die out faster ;)
