How frustrating...this totally reminds me of that stretch I went through with Linus. On the bright side, an oral antibiotic really worked wonders with Linus to get things under control. I feel that it was THE thing that finally kicked the infection because the ear ointments are difficult to measure/apply/massage, etc. The antibiotics, by working from the inside out, seemed better since, like Vegas, Linus' infection was deep within the ear.

I hope Vegas is feeling better and the antibiotics do the trick.

So glad you knew he needed to be seen soon. Poor thing but at least he is on the right track now.

Poor guy laid around all day yesterday, I finally got him to eat, and within 20 min. he threw up all that he had ate, he is drinking though. I even gave him yogurt last night for his snack and he took one lick and left his bowl. Hopefully today he will try to eat, so far his breakfast has been sitting for almost an hour and he has not even attempted to eat. Tonight after work if he has not ate I am going to do the bland diet.

It's probably due to all the antibiotics he's taking. I wonder why he keeps on getting flare-ups? Is it still allergy season there? Poor guy. Hopefully the oral antibiotics will do wonders and clear everything.
