but certainly should be composed of...
Listening to heart, lungs
Checking of teeth, eyes, and ears
Tugging on limbs and bending of joints
Looking over the skin, coat,
Eval of wrinkles, nose rope, and tail
Checking paws and nails
Sometimes trimming nails and cleaning ears if necessary.
Listening to the gut and feeling around for something amiss
Fecal exam, take Vet a fresh turd.
Heart worm test
Eval behavior and response to certain stimuli.

Every year every dog. Sometimes we may be a little late getting them in...like this year. We were putting things off a little hoping COVID risks would wane but that hasn’t really happened.
MINI is going it tomorrow for shots and a physical and to have a crusty mammary evaluated. I’m hoping it’s not something that requires surgery.

I take all mine in for a yearly wellness exam. All 3 of mine started when I got them as puppies. After the puppy boosters, they only gets shots/rabies every 3 years. But basically the vet does everything that Chip said.
