Droopy Eyes

Hey folks, i am from germany sorry for my english. I have a pure breed english bulldog he is 1 year and 1 week old. He has droppy eyes and they look red. He has not Problem with it yet. His eyes was droppy as a puppy.
It is not cherry eyes ? What do you think ?

Do you think it will be better when his head grows?

I am a first time bulldog owner so I have no advice. But I am sure more will comment here shortly!!

OMG...those eyes are awesome. I like them. They will not ever change...and the only concern is eventual development of dry eye...which may or may not happen. He’s cute!

ok, i love his eyes too and we had never a problem with it. i only think about health. i thought that if he is an adult and grows; gets bigger it will effect his eyes ?! i think there is plenty of room to grow or not ?

Handsome boy!

If he has no problems, things are probably fine, but you might want to have an eye specialist look at him at some point, so that you know what problems may come as he gets older (dry eyes, as [MENTION=15364]oscarmayer[/MENTION] says).

thank you, at this time there are no problems only it looks red and people ask if he is ill.
i will go to a specialist and ask him about his eyes. its not cherry eyes ? i have heard about, but i would say its droppy eyes or perhaps ektropium ?

Sounds to me like you have a healthy dog that will truly enjoy any and all love he can get! He looks great! And that sad face makes me melt!! You have yourself a beautiful bully there!

Handsome droopy eye boy.... like others stated, he may need drops later in life for dry eyes, but otherwise he needs extra love

He's like my Bullie! See my profile pic. They both have that "Sad" look. Bullie is now 13 years old and we haven't had problems with her eyes. I think Cooper will be just fine.
