Sophie has developed a strange spot on the inner lid of her right eye. Yesterday it looked like it had gotten wider. This morning it is back to the size I had been seeing. Any idea what this could be? She doesnā€™t seem to be bothered by it.

@%1; I hope you are right. Today it was not as obvious. She gets so uptight when I try to look at it that I canā€™t get near it. Sophie has always been the wild child!

It does look like a histiocytoma to me as well when I zoom in.

because itā€™s so close to the eye, if it gets bigger, looks infected or just anything strange, Iā€™d probably go to the vet for a check.

could be a blocked/inflamed tear gland. I'd have Vet look at it if it persists more than a couple of days.

If possible get a look while she is sleeping... I agree with others, because of location Iā€™d get it checked

Sophie is so paranoid about anything being done to her, that it is almost comical! She will not let me hold her paw to look at it because she absolutely hates having her nails trimmed. She will jump out of my reach if I want to look at her ears or even come her way with a cloth to clean her eye folds. I must have traumatized her early on, without knowing. She also hates a bath! She is a hoot!

I will see about looking closer in her sleep, but the vet may have better luck.
