Where does a newbie find a bulldog?

I’m sure there are people out there that make mistakes when they shop for an EBD. I posted on another thread about a shrink-a-bull, had no idea what the seller was talking about so I didn’t look into it. I got lucky as far as I’m concerned, I found a breeder in the finger lakes are of N.Y. I think I found it on the AKC puppy finder. She had her mother, aunt and grandmother on site. This area is known for Amish puppy mills so I was thrilled to find her. What suggestions do you have for newbies shopping for a quality EBD.

I usually suggest to people to try and find a local dog show to go to to as you’ll usually find breeders there showing their dogs. You can also look to see if there’s a local bulldog club division in your area.
