Ella is still a pup.. At that age I wouldnā€™t be surprised any position being wonky as said lol... Cartilage are forming n soft... Nyala when she stretches, her back legs are like that first photo, she can stay like that for a few seconds, then slowly returns standing n shake sit off. Sheā€™s odd. But she sure doesnā€™t have hip issues. :)

Rosco
The dog we had before Rosco always sat or laid with his legs like pic #1. I honestly didnā€™t know it wasnā€™t normal. He never had any hip issues and he passed at 10.

Rosco has always sat like pic #2 and only recently since his injury has he put them behind him like pic #1 when laying down. He has no hip issues or abnormal signs according to the vet.
