Moaning sound from Monty

Occasionally Monty will make a moaning noise when he is sleeping, BUT, only when he is on the wood floor next to my husband or in front of the fireplace. He never does it when he is laying on his beds or during the night. It does sound (to me) like he is uncomfortable but it is so random and he only does it in those two places. I am pretty sure he is not dreaming. If it hurt him to lay on wood, you would think he would move but he likes laying there! Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Lambeau does this when he is in a really deep hard sleep... scares me so I wake him up. :D

I feel much better now knowing Monty is not the only one!! It scared the daylights out of me the first time he did it but when I woke him, he was up and acting completely normal. We hear that bulldogs don't show pain so I was concerned. Just a few more grey hairs added to the ones I already have!
