The FDA has finally published the full list of foods, not just the 'high end' foods. They should have done this in the beginning.

I’m confused. 93% of kibbles out there has peas and/or lentils. FDA really has not much to do with their time. If there is MORE “meat as protein” and barely legumes nothing is wrong with that. Here’s an example I just picked...do the math...

There’s a lot of “meat protein” in this bag. Also bare in mind there’s more protein as fat n liver mixed in the 4%, 2% in the legumes. So to my eyes I sure would feed my dogs that bag in a heartbeat if they weren’t on raw. I’ve also looked up the other brands they mentioned but they don’t seem to detail the % of their ingredients in the bags. I wanted to do the math but doesn’t show.

I trust your word (opinion) [MENTION=15364]oscarmayer[/MENTION] over any other "reports". So why now after years and years, all the "other" brands, such as Beneful, Purina, etc.(the grocery store brands) are now coming out with grain free, which they never had before....
