Hi Bruce is 12 weeks old now and just had his last vacinne.

I can take him out in 2 weeks and just wondered if I should get a collar or harness?

I was advised to stay away from a harness as it can damage his chest bones whilst he is still growing so he has been getting used to a collar.

However, I want him to be safe when we are out walking.

Any advice?

It depends on how much he pulls... I use a martingale collar for both my guys so when they do pull i can correct without harm to neck or trachea. Harness can give more power to a puller, but it also lessens chance of injury

Agree. I bought a harness for Louie but he actually pulled more on it and I felt like I didn’t have control. He does better on a martingale or pinch collar and as long as they are used correctly, they won’t cause any damage.
