Shoe destroyer

My boy keeps destroying shoes but only my girlfriends shoes lol. Any ideas to stop his behavior? We try to keep them out of reach but sometimes she forgets and we come home to a shredded pair of shoes.

If they’re left out where he can get them he’s going to chew them. Two of our five will chew items left about. We keep perishables out of reach. That’s the only solution that works every time.

Since my two were pups we have been keeping our shoes up... I have baskets by the doors so we just throw them in there. For some reason our dogs LOVED the expensive ones... Lol

I’ve been very lucky... trained our early to ‘leave it’... wasn’t easy and took awhile, but none have chewed anything that is not a toy or bone
