Bruce update

Hi all.

We we brought Bruce home on Monday night. He is an 8 week old OEB.

Just a little update on how toilet training is going.

Monday night we have some little accidents in the kitchen. (2 number 1s and 2 number 2s)
I spent all day with him Tuesday, there were no accidents through the day and he was using the garden when I went out with him.
Wednesday morning I woke up and we had no accidents through the night. Had the same routine through the day Wednesday with the same outcome.
Thursday we woke up to 1 accident (1 number 1)
Thursday we had a similar routine but I stayed in the kitchen and he took himself out throughout the day and did the toilet all by himself.
Today (Friday) we have woke up to again no accidents. Cries at the back door to go out.

I am so proud of the little man.

He has taken to his little collar well too just have the odd scratch. He has been on his lead around the garden walks ok but just wants to play with it.

This is the first training I have tried with him what to move onto next.

Don’t forget just a puppy he’ll be doing a lot of accidents. Patience n Smiles.... lol

He gets lots a smile, praise and patients. Hard work but very rewarding seeing his progress is all the reward I need.

He means the markings... I call them ‘freckles’.

No, not at all. The ticking(freckles) is the little light brown spots all over his legs...a color trait I'm particularly fond of. You found EBN and you have a very cute puppy...that means you're doing great!
