Had a great time. Fantastic to meet Chip, Melissa and her hubby. Miss Ellie is so cute and Mr. Biggie a very handsome lad.

Jewel and Bentley had a ball meeting new friends. I will post some pictures later.

Lala did really good in the first heat. She placed 4th, I think, and did not advance to the finals. The first 3 places moved on. I’m told that two of the dogs that beat her left way early and some say she actually beat the bully that came in 3rd. I have no idea. I am glad that she was competitive and we all had fun with it.
A friend of mine filmed it and I’ll have a look at the race tomorrow when we get home. She tried her best and that’s all I can expect.
There may have been as many as 150 Bulldogs there today. There was drizzle and mist all day long. Had it been better weather, there may have been 200 plus and way more people.
We very much enjoyed meeting Roger, wife, Jewel, and Bentley...they are a super family. We were pretty busy and before I knew it they were off somewhere. For those that haven’t met him yet, Roger is more of a teddy bear than I expected, a fine fellow...almost as sweet as his Bulldogs.
Melissa and husband, Bob, are great folks and awesome bully parents. They have a beautiful little bully girl. That Ellie is a sweet one for sure.
I’ll post up more pics and a race video or 2 on Tuesday.
I’ll leave this post with a pic of the cutest little Frenchie I’ve ever met...
She has a crazy ear from persistent infections, before she was rescued last year. Her name is Sugar and she’s really tiny...maybe 15 lbs...and really sweet.
